Workstation Options

Language

Select Number Pad if ALL registers, clerk IDs, passwords, product ID's (or UPC codes) will be ONLY numeric, which is strongly recomended as then only a number pad will pop up. If ANY of those will have letters, select Key Pad.

Hide menus.

Select or click Ok to exit and save, or Cancel to exit without saving.

If you want to enter the end of day closeout by count (15 quarter, 18 dimes, etc.) set this to Y.  If you want to enter them as dollar values ($2.25 in quarters, $3.10 in dimes, etc.) set it to N.

This options allows you to choose which tender button displays are the invoice screen - Giftcard or Store Charge.  Simply select the one you want to display.  (Both tender options are available regardless of your choice here; this only controls which button displays.)

This allows you to change the header and body colors of your grid views.

If you want a signature line printing on store charge invoices, set this to Y, otherwise set it to N.

To be warned that a customer already has existing saved invoices or quotes when beginning a new sale to that customer, set this to Y.  To not be warned, set this to N.

If you will be using a barcode scanner, and have it programmed with a header and footer of [Enter], set this to Y.  If your scanner cannot be programmed with a header, you may set this to A.  Otherwise, set it to N.

If when final processing an invoice you want to be prompted for either shipping charges or information, set this field to C (Charges Only) to be prompted for shipping charges, L (Label Only) to be prompted for shipping information (how and when shipped), B (Both) to be prompted for both charges and information; or N (None) to not be prompted.

If you want to be prompted for salesperson at the start of each invoice, set this to A to always prompt, N to never prompt; Q to only prompt at cash sales; or C to only prompt for customer sales.

If you want the person closing the register at night to be able to print out a list of what is expected in the drawer set this to Y.  If you want them to close blindly, i.e., they don't know how much cash they should have, set this to N.

If you want COD information to print on your invoices, set this to Y; otherwise set this to N.

If you want the customer's check number to print on your invoices set this to Y; otherwise set it to N.

If you want the customers credit card information to print on full size invoices, set this to Y; otherwise set to N.  (Even if set to Y, only the last 4 digits of the credit card number will print for security reasons.

If you want the customer's phone number to print on your invoices set this to Y; otherwise set it to N.

If your charge method is set to ChargeItPro, this button allows you to access the CIP setup.

This options controls how you obtain the day's starting cash amount.  Set to M (Manually Enter) if your starting amount varies from day to day and you simply want to type it in each day.  Set to A (All Cash) if you will start each day with whatever cash was in the drawer as of the prior day.  Set to D (Default) if you always start your drawer with the same amount in it each day.  You can set this amount in the amount field.

Sets the invoice processing options available to this workstation.

Process Only	-	Can only final process invoices
Process/Layaway	-	Can final process and enter layaways
Process/Layaway/Quote	-	Can final process, enter layaways, and create quotes
All Options	-	Can do all of the above plus may save an invoice

If you want your invoice to begin printing before the information has been written to the datafiles, set this to Y; otherwise set this to N.

If you want the cost on the inventory screen to be encrypted, set this to Y; otherwise set it to N.

If you want this workstation to go straight to the sales screen, set this to Y.  If you want the workstation to go to the main menu, set this to N.

Default starting cash drawer amount.  (Next Day Cash must be set to use the default starting amount.)

You may set an optional default register ID.  If set, it will automatically fill in when logging into the program.  To set the default, type in the register ID you want or select it from the drop down selection list.

The method to use for handling credit cards.

This should be the drive letter that your system boots from, typically C:\.

This option allows you to change the wallpaper (background image) for your screens.
