Customer Aging

Select or click Ok to exit and save, or Cancel to exit without saving.

Allows you to permanently remove payment records. Under most circumstances, leave this set to 'N'.

This field is only available if you have set the above field to M for manual. Leave at 0.000 to not charge any interest, or set the rate to charge all customers with past due balances. To charge 1 1/2%, enter .015.

Select if and how to charge interest on past due balances. Set to C to use the percentages set on each customer's screen. Set to M to manually set the percentage to charge.

To not charge any interest, set to M for manual and leave the percentage at 0.000.

Select whether you want to calculate aging by Invoice or Balance Forward. If you apply payments to specific invoices, you should select Invoice; if you apply payments generically on account, you should select Balance Forward.

Select System Utilities Maintenance Customer Aging from the Main Menu.

This procedure requires exclusive use of the data files. This means that all other users on your network must exit the point of sale system before you begin. To see which computers are currently in the point of sale, go to Help User List from the main menu where you will see the list of computers currently logged in. The only computer that should be logged in should be the one you are at.
