Edit Cost

To edit the cost of an item and automatically recalculate selling prices, select Inventory Inventory from the Main Menu.You will then see the inventory screen. Locate the item.  (See Navigating Records.)  

Press [F7].  You will then see the edit cost screen.  

Type in the new cost. Optionally, add or edit the Minimum Margin for this item. Finally, select how you want your selling prices to update.  Your choices are:

Existing Prices - keep the selling prices as they are; simply adjust the margin and markup.

Current Margin/Markup - use the margin/markup on the inventory screen with the new cost to recalculate selling prices.

Manually Adjust - this opens up the 5 price levels for you to manually set.

Default Margin/Markup - if you have setup a default margin or markup (from Inventory Setup), then this will use those margins/markups and the new cost to recalculate selling prices.

Select Ok when done.
