Logging In

When you first start the program, you will need to log in. You will see the following screen:

Type in or select the correct register. Type in your user ID or select your name from the list. Type in your password. Press [Enter] or select Ok to log in. If all information is correct, you will see the Main Menu. If your password is incorrect, a message box will appear advising you of that fact and asking if you want to try re-entering your password.

If you are the first person signing onto a particular register, you will be prompted to enter the starting cash amount.  Type in the amount and press [Enter]

If you do not track cash or you do not yet know what the starting cash amount is, you may press [Enter] past the 0.00.  A message box will appear asking if you want to allow a zero start.  If you do not track cash, answer Yes.  If you do track cash and want to be prompted to enter the starting cash once you know it, answer No.
