If your cash drawer is connected to an Epson or compatible receipt printer simply press [F2] to automatically enter the proper initialization codes.

Click on the   to call up a selection list of available Windows printers.  Double-click on the printer that either corresponds to the receipt printer your cash drawer is attached to or the printer you setup for a stand-alone cash drawer.  (This will be the name you gave the printer when setting it up through Windows.)

Select or click Ok to exit and save, or Cancel to exit without saving.

Type in the password you want to use when manually popping the drawer.

Enter the codes for popping your drawer here as straight numeric values, separated by commas.  Ex. 7,11  In other words, if your cash drawer manual indicates that the pop codes are CHR(7)+CHR(11), simply enter 7,11.

The cods for drawers attached to either a Star 300, Epson, or Epson-compatible printer are shown below.

Star 300 Series	-	31,17,20
Epson/Samsung	-	31

To automatically enter the pop codes for a drawer attached through an Epson, or Epson-compatible printer, simply press [F2].

This field lets you choose between attaching your cash drawer direct to port or using the Windows print system.  Enter P for direct to port or W for Windows.  What you see on the rest of the screen will depend on what you have entered in this field.

If your cash drawer is plugged into your receipt printer, you will need to choose the same setting you are using for the receipt printer.

Set to A to have your cash drawer pop at every sale; set to C to have it pop only when cash is changing hands; set to N to not use a cash drawer.
