Kit Cost/Price Adjustment

This allows you to update your kit costs and selling prices based on information contained on the components' inventory screens.

This procedure requires exclusive use of the data files. This means that all other users on your network must exit the point of sale system before you begin. To see which computers are currently in the point of sale, go to Help User List from the main menu where you will see the list of computers currently logged in. The only computer that should be logged in should be the one you are at.

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A BACKUP BEFORE YOU RUN THIS ROUTINE.  Once run, the changes to your inventory cannot be undone, except through restoring a backup of the files.

Select System Utilities Maintenance Kit Prices from the Main Menu.

Select Cost Only to only update kit costs or Cost and Selling Prices to update both kit costs and selling prices.  Select Ok to proceed or Cancel to return to the menu.

Choosing to update Cost and Selling Prices will set the selling prices of your kits to the sum of the selling prices of each component.  Use caution when running this routine if you have previously change the selling prices of the kits themselves.
