PIN Pad

Select System Utilities Setup Workstation Hardware Pin Pad from the Main Menu. You will then see the PIN pad setup screen.

The only PIN pad supported is the Veriphone 1000SE. Your PIN pad must be pre-programmed to accept debit cards before you may integrate it with your software. Pin Pad support is only available if you are using ChargeItPro as your credit card processing software.

Before you can setup your PIN Pad, you must first install a file which is necessary in order to communicate with the PIN Pad. Refer to Installing the PIN Pad OCX for more information.

To being using your pin pad, set Use Pin Pad to C. Enter in the maximum amount of cash back you will allow on a debit card purchase. (To not allow any cash back, leave this at 0.00)

Your PIN pad must be configured in ChargeItPro in order to function properly. Click on the setup button to go to the ChargeItPro setup. Select Ok when done.

You must EXIT the system in order for any setup changes to take effect. Additionally, if you are on a network and change shared settings, the other users will not get those settings until they exit the system as well.
