Supervisor/Manager Passwords
The supervisor password is used to restrict access to the setting of the manager password and the access control levels. The manager password can be used to restrict various options at the point of sale. See invoice options for information on what can be restricted.
The procedure for setting or resetting either
the Supervisor or Manager passwords is the same.

You must EXIT the system in order for any setup changes to
take effect. Additionally, if you are on a network and change shared
settings, the other users will not get those settings until they exit the system
as well.

Select System
Utilities Setup Access
Control from the Main Menu. You will then be prompted to enter the supervisor
password. Type it in and press [Enter]. (If this is your first
time in Access Control, you will not be prompted to enter the supervisor password.)
A selection list of options will appear.
Select Supervisor to add or change the supervisor password; select Manager
to add or change the manager
password.
You will be prompted
to enter and re-enter the password to ensure accuracy. Passwords are CASE SENSITIVE!
If
the passwords do not match, you will be prompted to retype them.
|
Be certain to remember your Supervisor password; there is a charge to reset forgotten passwords.
