Allocating Shipping Charges when Receiving

When entering the vendor invoice information, you may choose to allocate the shipping charges to the cost of the items being received.  This is useful if your business works on tight margins and you want to ensure that your selling prices take into account the amount you pay in shipping.

The allocation is based on the cost of the item, not its weight. Whatever percentage each item is of the total, that percentage of the shipping charges will be allocated to it.
