Setup Market Areas
Market tracking lets you track where your customers are coming from when you ring a sale. You can use defaults of zip code or area code, or you can setup your own unique tracking. If you use "other tracking," then you need to specify what the options are for your clerks to choose from..
To add market tracking codes, select System
Utilities File
Edit Tables Lookup Tables
Market Tracking from the Main
Menu. From here you may add,
edit, and delete market tracking codes. (See Edit Data Files
for details on how to add, edit, or delete records.)

You can add as many or as few codes as you like, and you can change them at any time to keep track of things such as advertising specials or any other category you like.
